What DOP means
In order to be qualified for a DOP product, it must have qualities and characteristics which are essentially due to its region of production; it must also be produced, processed and prepared exclusively within that region.
To produce DOP products, it is necessary to follow the strict rules of the disciplinary of production of every DOP product.
The olive “La Bella della Daunia DOP” represents an excellent example of Italian products, protected by this prestigious European seal of quality.
